BENGALURU TENNIS OPEN
Bengaluru, the Garden City has been given the privilege of hosting an ATP Challenger event from the 10 - 16 February 2020. The Bengaluru Open will be a Tennis tournament like no other. A game that attracts the youth as well as their parents. It will be a conscious effort to increase the visibility and interest of a dynamic sport like tennis as well as improve the mileage and image of Bengaluru. With the help of the city’s stakeholders, this would be the Biggest ATP Challenger event in South Asia, with a prize money of $162,000.
A week of World class Tennis, with 48 Singles players and 16 Doubles pairs battling it out to lift the Bengaluru Open Crown. This will involve participation from among the top players in the world. The biggest benefit of the tournament would be to give an opportunity to Indian players at the ATP Challenger tour on home turf through this event and help them earn valuable points thus catapulting them into the top 50 worldwide.
